Move to Online Learning

The Alberta government introduced tougher public-health restrictions today to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep the health-care system from being overwhelmed.

Among those measures, all kindergarten to Grade 12 students in Alberta will move to at-home learning starting on Friday and continuing until after the May long weekend. This means all Baker students will move to learning from home.  Our staff will meet and create mandatory schedules for kids to follow and attend to. Once these schedules are created they will be communicated with parents and students.  Students are asked to take home anything they may need for learning home with them on their last day this week.

As you can imagine, our preference is to have students in our classrooms learning.  However, we are always prepared to deliver the best education possible regardless of the setting.
