Julie Macklin

I am looking forward to starting my 8th year at R.I.Baker and my 4th year in grade 6.  Up until this school year I had taught primarily math, art and science, but I am very excited to become a grade 6 homeroom teacher this year and teach all subjects to my group of students.  We will have a lot of fun exploring some project based learning, and I'm excited to integrate students' creativity wherever possible in their work.  Outside of school I am kept busy with my 4 cats and husky, as well as my 15 year old son, Milo, who starts grade 10 in Lethbridge this year.  We love going to the mountains to camp, hike and explore interesting places whenever we get the chance.  I think we are all going to have a fantastic 2024 - 2025 school year.
